Delete your Legalbit account.
You can delete your account yourself at any time. Deletion removes your personal details right away and permanently erases your account after a short grace period, should you change your mind.
How to delete
Three ways, all free.
In the Legalbit app
Open the Profile tab, scroll to Delete account, type DELETE to confirm. That is it.
Law firm accounts
Sign in to the firm dashboard on the web, open Settings, and use Delete Account at the bottom of the page.
By email
No longer have the app? Email support@legalbit.ai from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm by reply.
What happens
Immediately, and then permanently.
- Right away: your name and phone number are removed, your inquiries and messages are hidden from any law firm, and you are signed out everywhere.
- For 30 days: signing back in restores your account, if the deletion was a mistake.
- After 30 days: the account is permanently deleted. The written details of your inquiries are already erased on their own 30 days after you submit them, whether or not you delete the account.
- What we keep: billing records that law firms and we are legally required to retain, with your identity removed.
